Accounting Concentration

The basic purpose of accounting is to provide relevant information to management, investors, creditors, government and the general public. Accounting is an indispensable skill to running a business. Accountants participate in planning, analyzing and steering the activities of forms and individuals; providing tax advice and preparation services; and preparing statistics for private and government surveys.

  • About Larry: Larry Mora is a native to New Mexico and has attended both NMSU and UNM. Larry earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from UNM in 2020. Prior to being an advisor, he worked at the Center for Academic Program Support as an Assistant Coordinator focusing on online engagement and professional development. Larry is currently pursing his Master of Arts in the Organization Information & Learning Science program with a concentration in eLearning. In his free time Larry enjoys reading, watching sports, spending time with friends and being a life long learner.
