Profession Overview

Great leadership is in demand in every type of organization, and a degree in Organizational Leadership involves building a team and leading that team to succeed in business ventures of all sorts. While most management classes give an overall view of how to run a business, Organizational Leadership focuses on project management and supervisory skills with a real-world approach to management in a variety of industries rather than one specific discipline. Students in Organizational Leadership can expect to take classes in ethics, human behavior, leadership theory, statistics, occupational health and safety, humanities and labor relations while learning skills in innovation, strategy, decision-making, creativity and analytical methods. Graduates will know how to conduct strategic research in order to improve productivity and promote growth by providing inspiring leadership skills.
