Dr. Leslie Boni, Chair for the Finance, International, Technology, and Entrepreneurship Department at UNM Anderson,
will receive the Community Leadership Award at Anderson's 2013 Hall of Fame.
The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world's largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of
anti-fraud training and education, has announced the election of Richard G. Brody to the ACFE Board of Regents.
ACFE also recognized Professor Rich Brody as Educator of the Year. The prestigious ACFE
Outstanding Achievement Awards recognize the contributions of anti-fraud professionals worldwide. The
Educator of the Year Award is presented to an ACFE Educator member who has made an outstanding
contribution in anti-fraud education.
Anderson's John Benavidez receives the UNM Alumni Faculty Teaching Award.
John Benavidez has been teaching at UNM since 1997 upon graduating with his M.B.A. from Anderson.
His teaching focuses on marketing including, but not limited to, advertising, digital marketing,
promotions management, and marketing management. Benavidez constantly seeks to support students at
UNM. He serves as faculty advisor for Collegiate DECA and is a faculty representative on the Student
Union Building Board. After several years of teaching at the University, he received the Outstanding
Lecturer of the Year Award in 2004. In 2009, Benavidez received the Distinguished Professor Award
from The Wall Street Journal.

- About Roberta: Prior to becoming the Senior Alumni Relations Officer for the Anderson School of Management, I worked at the UNM Alumni Association for six years as the Unit Administrator and a key liaison between the Association and the Alumni Board of Directors along with a host of University-wide responsibilities. I managed the Alumni Association’s annual Awards and Scholarship programs and played a key role in coordinating, researching and implementing the Student Transition and Engagement Program aimed at student community engagement and outreach. I am an alum of the Anderson School with a BBA in Organizational Leadership. In addition, I hold a Masters in Educational Leadership from the College of Education.

Organizational Leadership Concentration
The suggested program above presumes that 62 hours of pre-admission requirements and free electives have been earned. As credits earned vary from student to student, please use worksheets, the Anderson BBA website, and check with your BBA Advisor to calculate your earned pre-admission hours.
The Organizational Management, Organizational Leadership Track is for students who expect to work for organizations of all types (private, government, non-profit) in which they expect to play a leadership role.
Register for concentration electives throughout your degree program. Failure to do so will likely delay your graduation by one or more semester.
It is strongly recommended that students take MGMT 498 in their graduating semester. Students choosing to take MGMT 498 in a different semester must be within 15 hours of graduation or get prior approval from the Associate Dean.
